Using this website
Everything on this site is general information about water damage restoration in Mississauga. It is not a substitute for an on-site inspection. Response times, prices and drying schedules quoted here are typical figures, and the numbers for your property are confirmed in writing after we inspect it.
Quotes and pricing
- Prices shown on this site are starting points for a Category 1 clean water loss.
- Your final scope and price are set after the on-site inspection and given to you in writing.
- Category 2 and 3 losses, and any job needing mould containment, are quoted separately.
- Work outside the agreed written scope is quoted before it starts, never added afterwards.
Booking and cancellation
Emergency call-outs are dispatched on your phone instruction and no deposit is taken. You can cancel a scheduled inspection at any time before the crew leaves our base at no charge. Where a crew has already arrived, a call-out fee may apply and we tell you the amount before dispatch.
Your responsibilities
- Give us safe access to the property and to the water shut-off.
- Tell us about known hazards such as asbestos, live electrical faults or structural damage.
- Leave drying equipment running as instructed, since switching it off extends the job.
- Confirm you are the owner, or that you have the owner's authority to approve the work.
Insurance claims
Our insurance claim support prepares the scope, photographs and moisture logs your insurer needs, and we speak with your adjuster where you ask us to. Coverage decisions belong to your insurer and are governed by your policy, not by us. Where a claim is declined, the invoice remains payable by you under the written scope you approved.
Warranty
Reconstruction work carries a five-year written workmanship warranty covering framing, drywall, flooring and finish carpentry, and it transfers to the next owner. The warranty covers our workmanship. It does not cover a new water event, normal wear, or damage from work carried out by others after we hand the property back.
Liability
We carry $5M general liability cover and full Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) coverage for every technician on site. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it. Questions go to dispatch@waterdamagerestorationmississauga.ca or (877) 738-2893.
