What happens on site

Complete Structural Drying & Dehumidification
from one local crew

Structural drying is a measured process, not a waiting game. We calculate the equipment plan on day one from the affected volume and the class of loss. The equipment then leaves the floor when the readings say so, not when the calendar does.

What we cover

A measured plan for
every stage of the loss

Structural drying is measured, not guessed. We build the equipment plan on day one. Then we log readings every 24 hours until the building is dry.

01

How the equipment plan is calculated

Air mover count comes from the affected floor area and the wall height. Dehumidifier capacity comes from the cubic volume and the drying class. Too little equipment leaves a job that never finishes. Too much is what an adjuster flags. We size it, write it down, and retune it against daily readings.

02

What a dry standard actually means

A dry standard is a number, not a feeling. We take a moisture reading in an untouched part of the same building, in the same material. That reading becomes the target. Wet materials get dried until they match it or come close. You keep the daily log showing the curve, which proves the job is done.

03

Specialty drying for hardwood, plaster and concrete

Class 4 materials hold water in a way plain air movement will never shift. Hardwood needs floor mat systems drawing moisture up through the boards under vacuum. Plaster and concrete need extended low-humidity drying. This is the work that decides whether a floor gets saved or replaced.

We run structural drying & dehumidification across the whole city, with Churchill Meadows and Fairview among the neighbourhoods we are called to most. It commonly runs alongside emergency water damage restoration and water extraction & removal.

Our process

How your restoration
moves from call to handover

Four clear steps, one project lead and written documentation at every stage.

  1. 01

    Emergency Call

Call at any hour and a restoration manager picks up. Never a call centre. That manager takes your details and sends the closest crew.

  2. 02

    Inspection & Assessment

Thermal cameras and moisture meters map every wet cavity. That includes water sitting behind walls, where you cannot see it.

  3. 03

    Extraction & Drying

Truck-mounted units pull the standing water out. Containment, LGR dehumidifiers and air movers follow. Each one is sized to a calculated plan.

  4. 04

    Restoration & Handover

We rebuild the space and take final clearance readings. Your insurer gets a full documentation package. Then your home goes back to you.

01Why does the equipment have to run overnight?

Drying only works without breaks. Switching the equipment off overnight lets moisture move back out of the framing into the air and surfaces. Most of the day's progress is then lost. It stretches the job out too, which costs more than the electricity ever will.

02How much does the equipment add to my hydro bill?

A single-room setup of 2 air movers and 1 LGR dehumidifier draws roughly 1.5 kW (5,100 BTU) per hour. That is about the same as two space heaters. Across 3 or 4 days it is a real but modest amount. Most insurers reimburse it as a recognised line item.

03Can I just rent a dehumidifier and do it myself?

No. A household dehumidifier lowers room humidity. It will not pull bound water out of framing, subfloor or wall cavities, and it gives you no readings. The risk is a surface that feels dry over a cavity that is still wet. That is how mould shows up three weeks later.

Every hour counts

Water never waits.
Neither do we.

Drywall wicks moisture upward at roughly 1 inch (2.5 cm) an hour, and mould takes hold inside 24 to 48 hours. Call now and a certified crew reaches your street tonight.
