What happens on site

Complete Sewage & Category 3 Cleanup
from one local crew

Sewage is a biohazard, not a mess. Category 3 water carries bacteria, viruses and parasites, and every porous material it touched is contaminated rather than simply wet. Cleaning it up correctly follows a regulated process with its own written standard.

What we cover

A measured plan for
every stage of the loss

A sewage backup is a biohazard, not a mess. Our crews strip out the contaminated materials. We sanitise what stays and treat the smell at its source.

01

Report it to the Region of Peel first

Call 905-791-7800 the moment you see sewage, day or night. Write the service request number down. That number records that a surcharge happened on your street. The Region and your adjuster both work from it. Reporting during the event carries far more weight than reporting after the cleanup.

02

What gets removed and what gets saved

IICRC S500 requires porous materials in Category 3 water to be removed rather than dried. That covers broadloom, underpad, insulation, particleboard and the wet height of drywall. Solid structure such as framing, concrete, tile and sealed surfaces gets cleaned, sanitised and dried. We work under containment with negative air so nothing travels upstairs.

03

Removing the odour properly

Sewage odour is a molecular problem, not a masking problem. After removal and sanitising we treat with hydroxyl or ozone. The choice depends on whether anyone is living there. We deal with odour held in the material rather than spraying over the top. A room that still smells means we have not finished.

We run sewage & category 3 cleanup across the whole city, with Sheridan and Gordon Woods among the neighbourhoods we are called to most. It commonly runs alongside water extraction & removal and basement flood cleanup.

Our process

How your restoration
moves from call to handover

Four clear steps, one project lead and written documentation at every stage.

  1. 01

    Emergency Call

Call at any hour and a restoration manager picks up. Never a call centre. That manager takes your details and sends the closest crew.

  2. 02

    Inspection & Assessment

Thermal cameras and moisture meters map every wet cavity. That includes water sitting behind walls, where you cannot see it.

  3. 03

    Extraction & Drying

Truck-mounted units pull the standing water out. Containment, LGR dehumidifiers and air movers follow. Each one is sized to a calculated plan.

  4. 04

    Restoration & Handover

We rebuild the space and take final clearance readings. Your insurer gets a full documentation package. Then your home goes back to you.

  • 18 Years, 4,000+ LossesWe have dried Port Credit bungalows, Erin Mills two-storeys and Malton walk-ups since 2008. Clay depth, sump load and sewer capacity shift block to block here. Our drying plan shifts with them.
  • Five-Year Written WarrantyEvery rebuild carries five years of cover. That means framing, drywall, flooring and finish carpentry. You approve a fixed written scope before the first tool leaves the truck.
  • Licensed, WSIB, InsuredWe hold IICRC certification in WRT, ASD and AMRT as a firm. Our WSIB certificate and $5M liability policy go out before we start. Ask for both on the first call.
  • Checked By Third PartiesIndependent labs handle clearance testing on every mould job, never our own swab. Our Google Reviews score sits at 5.0 across 312 ratings. Your adjuster can audit each moisture log.

frequently asked questions

Quick answers from our restoration team. For an answer about your property, call us at any hour.

01Is sewer backup covered by my insurance?

Only with the sewer backup endorsement. It sells separately from a standard Ontario homeowner policy and carries its own higher deductible. Check your declaration page. It is one of the cheapest riders available and the most likely claim in this city.

02Can I clean it up myself with bleach?

No. Bleach does not sanitise porous materials, and it never reaches what has wicked into drywall and framing. It also puts you in contact with a biohazard with no protective gear. Then it destroys evidence your adjuster needs. Keep people and pets out of the area and call us.

03How long before the basement is usable again?

Remediation takes 3 to 5 days, then drying, then reconstruction. A finished basement runs 3 to 4 weeks from the first call to handover. Clearance testing happens before anything gets closed back up.

Every hour counts

Water never waits.
Neither do we.

Drywall wicks moisture upward at roughly 1 inch (2.5 cm) an hour, and mould takes hold inside 24 to 48 hours. Call now and a certified crew reaches your street tonight.
