  • 02 Wall-cavity injection drying
  • 03 Targeted openings, minimal demolition
  • 04 Thermal imaging and complete moisture mapping

What we cover

A measured plan for
every stage of the loss

A pipe that splits inside a wall runs for hours before anyone hears it. We isolate the line. Then we dry the cavity instead of gutting the wall.

01

Stopping it before we dry it

The shut-off comes first. We talk you to the main valve on the phone while the truck is moving, if you cannot find it. Once the line is isolated we assess the split. Our crew handles some repairs, and a licensed plumber handles the rest. We coordinate either way before drying starts.

02

Drying the cavity instead of gutting the wall

Most burst pipe losses sit inside a wall. The quick approach strips drywall from floor to ceiling and rebuilds it. We drill small holes at the base plate instead. Dry air goes into the cavity under pressure and we read the framing directly. On many jobs the wall finish never comes off.

03

Why frozen pipes burst where they do

Water expands as it freezes, and the split almost never happens at the ice itself. It happens between the ice plug and a closed tap. Rising pressure there has nowhere to escape. Damage often shows up several feet from the cold spot. Finding the real failure point needs imaging, not guessing.

We run burst & frozen pipe damage across the whole city, with Cooksville and Dixie among the neighbourhoods we are called to most. It commonly runs alongside basement flood cleanup and emergency water damage restoration.

Our process

How your restoration
moves from call to handover

Four clear steps, one project lead and written documentation at every stage.

  1. 01

    Emergency Call

Call at any hour and a restoration manager picks up. Never a call centre. That manager takes your details and sends the closest crew.

  2. 02

    Inspection & Assessment

Thermal cameras and moisture meters map every wet cavity. That includes water sitting behind walls, where you cannot see it.

  3. 03

    Extraction & Drying

Truck-mounted units pull the standing water out. Containment, LGR dehumidifiers and air movers follow. Each one is sized to a calculated plan.

  4. 04

    Restoration & Handover

We rebuild the space and take final clearance readings. Your insurer gets a full documentation package. Then your home goes back to you.

Burst & Frozen Pipe Damage
frequently asked questions

Quick answers from our restoration team. For an answer about your property, call us at any hour.

Talk to a restoration manager(877) 738-2893 · Open 24/7
01The pipe froze but has not burst yet. What do I do?

Open the tap that line feeds, so pressure has an escape route. Warm the pipe gently from the tap end with a hair dryer or heat lamp. Never use an open flame. Starting in the middle traps pressure. Shut the main off and call us, if you cannot reach the frozen section.

02Is burst pipe damage covered by insurance?

Yes. Sudden and accidental pipe failure is covered by most Ontario policies. One common exclusion applies to freezing damage in a home left unheated or vacant. Your policy sets that limit, commonly 4 straight days in winter without shutting off and draining the water.

03Will you have to open up my whole wall?

No, usually not. We open only where moisture readings and thermal imaging show water actually reached. Injection drying handles the cavities without pulling the finish off. Saturated drywall that cannot be saved does come out. Even then the cut is measured rather than exploratory.

Every hour counts

Water never waits.
Neither do we.

Drywall wicks moisture upward at roughly 1 inch (2.5 cm) an hour, and mould takes hold inside 24 to 48 hours. Call now and a certified crew reaches your street tonight.
