Our commitment
WDR Mississauga aims to give people with disabilities the same standard of service as everyone else. That applies to this website and to every crew that arrives at a property. We work to the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and its Integrated Accessibility Standards.
This website
We build against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. The site includes:
- A skip link that jumps straight to the main content.
- Full keyboard access, with visible focus on every link, button and form field.
- Text alternatives on images that carry meaning, and empty alt text on decorative ones.
- Text that stays readable when you zoom to 200 per cent.
- Headings and landmarks in a logical order for screen readers.
- Colour contrast that meets the 4.5:1 ratio on body text.
Accessible customer service
- Our emergency line is answered live by a person, 24 hours a day, with no phone menu to navigate.
- Service animals and support persons are welcome at any property we work in.
- We give scopes, drying logs and invoices in large print or plain text on request, at no charge.
- Crews explain each stage aloud where that helps, and work around access needs in the home.
Requesting another format
Ask us for any document on this site in an accessible format and we supply it in a timely way at no extra cost. Call (877) 738-2893 or email dispatch@waterdamagerestorationmississauga.ca with the format you need.
Feedback
Tell us where this site or our service falls short. Feedback by phone, email or through our contact page reaches a manager, and we reply inside two business days.
Known limitations
Google Maps is embedded on our contact and neighbourhood pages, and that third-party map has keyboard limitations we cannot change. Every address and phone number shown on a map is also written out as plain text next to it, so no information sits inside the map alone.
